This morning's sunrise at Point Hudson Marina was behind a bank of low clouds rising into a hazy overhead that painted the soft colors seen here. The roundish object silhouetted on the water at right center is the car ferry leaving PT for Keystone on Whidbey Island.Enjoy a visit to all the participants on Sky Watch Friday here.

Would that qualify as "red sky at morning, sailor take warning"? Great shot, Raf! I might have to get up earlier if I lived there!

In the UK, is "red sky at night shepherd's delight, red sky in morning shepherd's warning". It's a lovely image, really soft soothing colours.
This is beautiful! Makes me think of Mystic, Conneticut.

Beautiful! A car ferry, wow--it must be nice to have enough water around to need a ferry. Enjoy it.
Beautiful! :)
Lovely colours.
Great!!! :)))
I visit Port Townsend every time I am in Washington. Great place; but often I leave before sunset, and I guess I shouldn't.
Wonderful sky watch!!
(If this gets through to let you know, Katney is right, the work verification is giving me a problem. This is my 4th attempt.)
