The Queen
We have a double dose of Q for this week's letter. Since it is often called the "Queen of Queen Annes" the Anne Starrett Mansion is a natural for our choice in Port Townsend. This grand old Victorian Inn, seen here about to lose all the pretty pink spring blossoms from the trees, is for sale if you're interested. For accommodations or a photo tour throughout the building check the website here.

Looks very nice indeed - but I probably couldn't afford it...
Always wanted a mansion of my own - but I bet I'd be a few quid short of the asking price!
Nice picture.

Lovely house and lovely trees!
Was this taken recently? The cherry trees are beautiful as the mansion is...but I doubt if they are still in bloom!
Looks like its high-priced!
I love to visit Port Townsend. In addition to your beautiful architecture you have some great restaurants!
I chose to use nearby Quadra Island for Q. It is a fun vacation destination that you can see by clicking here. – Margy
cette maison est superbe et l'architecture surprenante. on dirait presque la maison de la famille Adams ;o).
this house is beautiful and amazing architecture. it seems almost family's house Adams ;o).
What a beauty--'the grand bon bon'!
You live in such a great area. Ports Townsend & Angeles, and I've always thought I'd like Poulsbo too. BTW your post on the farmers market was so colorful & interesting--loved the banner graphic.
Happy Wednesday!
She's pretty in pink!
Looks very nice, great shot and coice of Q.
What a beautiful place.
Now that's what I call a beautiful queen! I'd love to own it but I'm sure it's out of my price range!!
Ah ha! "Louis" was wondering if someone would post a Victorian for "Q" Wednesday! It's Raf to the rescue! :-)
What a beautiful place to take a holiday in, or even buy if you could afford it.
Thanks for visiting my blog and your kind comments.
What a beautiful mansion! I will go look at the website. :D

I want the room at the tippy top!
Great shot!
I wonder how many owners she has had. I used to drive by with out of town visitors...always a treat.
My husband and I are working right now on making an offer to buy it!
And to lavenderlady, it has had 10 owners (from what I've read)....we hope to be #11!
