Victorian Festival

This last weekend was one of several events each year focused on Port Townsend's history during the Victorian era. The men enjoying a friendly poker game in the lobby of the Palace Hotel, as well as the woman leaving, in yesterday's post are folks reenacting various scenes around town from the latter part of the nineteenth century. The annual Victorian Festival is a three day event that includes walking tours, Victorian homes tour, a fashion show, historical stage reenactments, a Grand Ball and other programs. A number of people enjoy strolling around town in Victorian costumes as well.
All who commented on Monday's post are very kind and many were well on target. Thank you.
Here are a few photos taken downtown over the weekend. More tomorrow from the Palace Hotel on ABC Wednesday at Mrs. Nesbitt's place.
