...as in boatyards. There is no shortage of boats in Port Townsend and they come in many shapes, forms, types and sizes. They also come from places far and wide for hauling out and having repairs done that would be more expensive, for example, in Alaska's far reaches and harsher climate. For me, the boatyard is a great place to find photo ops, catch up on marine-related news and perhaps swap a few sea stories.

This is a unique Y and very interesting offering the not so usual view of boats. Very nice!

Brilliant "Y", with excellent photos. Well done Raf!
Great 'Y' shots of some beautiful vessels.

Those are nice shots! Thanks for stopping by my place. Good morning from Mississippi, USA. I hope you have a wonderful morning!
A great idea! I too chose yachts but yours has more creative angles.

I love the wood you showed in these boats...beautiful!
These are amazing photos. Great lighting and fantastic textures.
Every time I go to Port Townsend I have to stop at the boatyards. There are so many great boats (yachts) in various degrees of repair. Talking to all of the boaters is lots of fun. After looking at your pictures I want to come back soon. I chose Y is for yarn, I invite you to come see. - Margy
You might want to check out the new public art in the lobby of the Commons at Fort Worden. Talk about Sky Watch! I can envision a photo of that piece in your blog, but of course that's up to you.
