A Critter is born on Cedar Creek

This photo was taken of a newly-created rabbit today, carved from a tree stump on the shore of Cedar Creek Lake in Texas. We are continuing to enjoy a great family visit here and this evening were also treated to a gorgeous Texas sunset.

The new born Mr. Rabbit is seen here appearing in his first ever sunset over the lake.

This silhouette image was not taken by me, but was taken of me by a certain Lake Lady while we were shooting the beautiful colors of the sunset. Saving our sunset shots for this Friday on Sky Watch.

Great shots and even if you didn't take the center one--I like it. Nice colors on the water. MB

Amazing the life a dead tree gave to a rabbit.

The rabbit is cool and I love how it is positioned to look out over the water and enjoy the sunset! My dad has done totem and animal carvings out of logs, so I appreciate the talent it takes.

Great post & thank you so much for joining Camera-Critters! It really means a lot to me and I look forward to seeing more of your critter photos each week!
