14 metal chairs

Because we've been on the road so much this summer, I missed the chance to register in time for CDP Theme Day. Here then is my belated contribution for the metal theme. While traveling through the Texas Hill Country last weekend, I couldn't resist this shot of colorful lawn chairs all in a row at a roadside shop.

Pigs Do Fly--what was that all about? Maybe the chairs are in a line waiting for the occupants to appear to watch the parade that soon will go by. OR-- Maybe my imagination is working over time.

There was a time when those were the only kinds of lawn chairs that were available. Now they are priceless relics.

Indeed, what sort of a shop is it that is named "Pigs do Fly"? It cannot be a lottery agent as that is "Pigs might Fly"!

I've wanted to buy a couple of those chairs for a while now...but I agree with Abe, they're getting pricey! You wouldn't want to sit in one these days unless it was in the shade! Great color and composition, Raf!

Love these! Great shot! I am guessing this is a BBQ place?

I like the chairs, but I wonder did you see the flying pigs?

Looks like a swell spot.

MB, Julie, and Kelly - Can't tell you what kind of shop it was. We had a full agenda that day and no time to check it out. Probably antiques and such.

Marcel - No winged porcine creatures did I see.
