Hawaiian Chieftain

Here is the Hawaiian Chieftain on Port Townsend Bay last evening just before sunset. Learn about the Chieftain here and how she joins the Lady Washington on educational tours of the west coast.

Here she is about a half an hour later heading back to the dock after the bay had lost its sun, but the sun's rays were still striking Mount Rainier some fifty miles to the east.

Man, I'd love to be on her under sail. I'd even swab the decks for a good afternoon of sailing. Heck they could keel haul me if that is waht it took.
