...along the summit of Mount Rainier.
Last week we returned to Seattle from Denver on a bright and beautiful day and were treated to great views of the volcanic peaks of Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier in the Cascade Range. As we circled Mount Rainier to make the final approach to Seatac airport, it was a breathtaking sight to be so close and eye to eye with the summit of the 14, 400 ft mountain. In the thirty plus years I've lived in Western Washington I never tire of getting that close-up view of the mountain.

I never tire of any view of the mountain. I love flying in past it, too. Usually it means we just flew over our house and will land and have a three hour drive home. We can see it from our house--well, as long as hop harvest is over.
Breathtaking. I never tire of looking at her and am glad I have a chance to. MB
