All was calm before sunrise this morning at Point Hudson Marina when this picture was taken. Temperature about fifteen degrees Fahrenheit, but calm and clear.
Now, some fifteen hours later, a large storm has moved off the Pacific and enveloped our northwest coastal region with blizzard conditions of high winds and snow. So right now, it's batten down the hatches and stoke up the fire. Brrrr!

Well I survived the night--power still on,trees still up and not too too much snow on top of the exisiting snow. YAY!!! MB
Batten down the hatches, stoke the fire, and drink the grog! I've heard about your storm; daughter's in Seattle!
Perfect title for a perfect photo. Stay warm! Cheers from BC
We will possibly not get snow here or such gorgeous pink hues. This is superb, but I hope not an omen of too stormy weather.
Pretty picture.
