OMG, you faked me out! I saw that cardinal in the thumbnail and thought to myself, "I didn't know we had cardinals out here, I thought they only lived back east." So, it's a decorative one, just like the one we have in our ornament box. :-) -Kim Seattle Daily Photo
When I was a little girl, I used to see a cardinal just like this (Well, almost---mine was real!) outside my grandmother's kitchen window while I was eating breakfast. I would sit very, very still, and his "wife" would often come along, too.

Isn't that so pretty. Cardinals are the reddest of reds. Even real ones---which I have never seen. MB

Great capture! We have lots of REAL cardinals around our home--they make a special high-pitched chirping noise. Happy Holidays!
