January 1, 2009 - Happy New Year!

Wishing everyone the very best of the new year!

Because we've been without an Internet connection since Christmas Day, we're having Internet withdrawals. The upside is, we've had plenty of good family visiting to keep us busy this past week. :)

January 1st is Theme Day for City Daily Photo and the topic is Best Photo of 2008.
This is one of my favorite images from the past ten months that I've been a part of the CDPB community. It was one of those wonderful late summer weekends at the beach with two of our granddaughters. We had warm, dry and clear weather and a full day of activities as I posted
here in mid September.

There are 151 registered participants for this month's CDP theme. To enjoy them all, Click here to view thumbnails for all participants .

Wowie zowie what a gorgeous and crisp silhouette! You captured the action superbly and it really conveys the liveliness of the girls. Kudos!
And, a very happy and healthy new year to you! I'm hoping all us Pacific Northwest CDPB folks can get together this summer.

Hi
Saw the blog name and just had to drop in, dunno why but I thought maybe you were in Australia or perhaps New Zealand. As I now know I was wrong, PT looks a nice intersting place.
Best Wishes for the New Year
