Winter blues...

...have some of us around here dreaming of sunny, warmer weather ahead, like this pleasant morning sail last summer on the schooner, Merrie Ellen.

The rigging of tall ships is so romantic. One of my great grandfathers was a ship's captain, and his ship, the Watson A. West, was built up in Washington.

Well at least she has all her bits the right way up - not like the poor Lady Washington the other day.

If you can't get the weather you want - dream, eh?

These are the kinds of winter blues I like, although I am a landlubber.

Take me now. How wonderful to sail away into the big blue.

Yes, with these gray and gloomy days we've been having it's hard not to spend too much time longing for spring. Thanks for the lovely summery photo.

Great shot and perspective.
Yes, I`m dreaming of sunny and warmer weather.

Re my Drammen night shots. It was very cold. About -15 degrees celsius (5 farenheit) and lait at night.

I have to admit I was not thinking of summer until I saw your post. Now I suppose I will be dreaming about it all night long.
