Sky Watch "...the eagle has landed!"

After a getting a fortunate shot of this bald eagle attacking an otter, as seen in Wednesday's post, I watched as he flew off into the distance and circled back to reclaim his perch atop a rock. As he was descending, I was lucky enough to catch a few more shots of his approach and landing.

No, it wasn't the moon, but watching and capturing this eagle in his element was an exciting moment too.

Wow! He's such a magnificent beast but I wou'dn't want him in my backyard. The little birds would be terrified. Excellent catches.
