images from the olympic peninsula and beyond
magnifique panorama, on dirait une peinture, avec ce phare tout seul.splendid panorama, they would say a painting, with this all alone headlight.
What a beautiful place Port Townsend is!
Definitely gorgeous. Many times I have roamed a winter beach in PT.
A nice picture, But I would have loved a close-up of that light-house (or is my memory failing me and you have already posted it?)
So picturesque -- could be a painting.
Looks like a great day for a walk. I would expect it to be crowded with people taking in the beauty.
Great photo, especially enlarged. It was a good day for a walk.We haven't been to that exact spot even though we have visited the Port Townsend area a couple of times.I was trying to get my bearings in the photo. I assume that is the Cascades in the background and not the Olympic Range. If its not to much trouble, leave a comment on our web site and let me know. We really like lighthouses and are sorry that we missed this one. I 'googled' this one and found the story of the lighthouse. Interesting.Come visit anytime,Troy and MarthaPS: Martha says nice name for the ship in the post about 'Helms'.
It looks like a very pretty day. We have had quite a few lately. Super shot. MB
We do have beautiful skies, don't we? This is truly a gorgeous shot! And it does look like a painting! Thanks for sharing and Happy SWF!
Lovely composed shot, Raf.
I think we share same fluffy clouds today, for a change. It is a picture postcard.
Obviously you live in a place where the terrain is terrific. And this photo shows just how beautiful it is!
Beautifully framed and shot skywatch image
