So beautiful. I caught one in the rear view mirror in Eastern WA last year with the same gorgeous sky. Thanks for the explanation re. Quimper, it's really interesting because here the French "Quimper" is merely a "Frenchification" (?) of the Celtic Breton language "Kemper" which means confluence. And indeed, the city of Quimper lies about 1O miles inland of the Atlantic at the confluence of the Odet, Jed and Steir rivers! ;-)
