Skywatching 101

Beautiful blue skies today. The cormorants at Point Hudson seemed to be content just hanging out, sunning and sky watching.

Many sky watchers can be found today at Sky Watch Friday.

Oh, I have come to love these guys up here in MN too. They are my kind of bird, not too 'busy' but get the work done while constantly enjoying their surroundings.
Hope spring is wonderful in the northwest for you!

Crazy Cormorants!! Always in a line up or looking silly drying their wings. I like 'em. MB

What a terrific shot, Raf! Love the cormorants gathering! Wonder what the word of the day was! Have a great weekend!

Now this is just not fair. I mean it takes me all day to capture just one cormorant, but so many. My fav. skywatch this week, and I never reveal that, but just had to say. Knocked out by this, and very envious.
