I is for - Into the Fog Bank

This shot of the car ferry departing the bay for Whidbey Island was taken from Point Hudson on a bright and sunny morning in Port Townsend. The ferry was about to enter a heavy fog bank sitting over Admiralty Inlet. Ever-changing fog conditions on the water are not an uncommon occurrence here. The fog was soon gone and a warm summer day prevailed.

See many takes on the letter I today at Mrs. Nesbitt's ABC Wednesday.

Marvelous shot, Raf! And all too familiar! It is amazing how the fog can come and go so quickly around our part of the world!

Enjoy!

Wow. It's hard for me to imagine that you can get a bright sunny day soon after this. Amazing photo, Raf! Love the light!

What a great shot. It looks like a painting by---------I can't think of the artist but it is on the tip of my tongue. See.....I am sticking my tongue out.

I love the wooden boats I will go see them when they come over this way. MB

This is spectacular. It doesn't even look like what it really is, but it has an air of mystery, for sure.
