Sky Watch - Stormy morning on the Strait

Sky watching on a sunny, but stormy day at North Beach in Port Townsend. The tanker seen here in the Strait of Juan de Fuca was approaching Admiralty Inlet for passage into Puget Sound waters.
A profusion of sky images from around the world can be found every week at Sky Watch Friday.

Heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all who have left comments with good thoughts and prayers during my absence. Health issues do come along in life, but I'm happy to say things are looking good and I'm tickled to be getting back to blogging again. Looking forward to once again visiting all the great sites in our photo blogging community.

On another note - Nancy and I have spent the last three years living mostly in Port Townsend, but also in our home in Omaha, Nebraska. We are now settled back in Omaha and our return to the Pacific Northwest will be as often as possible. My plan is to continue posting to Port Townsend Daily Photo for a while as I begin a new blog featuring the heartland area of America around Omaha. Hope you will stop by from time to time. I'm so glad you are doing well and I've already been to your new blog -- thought it might be you, but wasn't sure at first, now I know for sure! This is such a terrific shot of the storm!

Take care, Raf! Look forward to more posts from both locations as I know they will always be fun, beautiful and interesting!

Woo hoo! Glad you are back in the saddle. I will still wave toward your beloved PT this evening as I pass by on the clipper. Can't tell you how good it is to see your beautiful shot for today's Skywatch Friday. Keep warm back in Omaha, and I will try to check in there and here as I can. Continued blessings of restored health and happiness,

Great shot, the ocean looks a little rough.

Wonderful sea. I love wind and waves - as long as I'm safely on dry(ish) land.

Welcome back. I'm off to look at your new blog now...
