Happy New Year!

It's Theme Day for CDP bloggers on this first day of the new year. The theme this month is changes. Happened to notice our collection of sea glass we've picked up on our walks along Port Townsend beaches. Hard to imagine the changes these little shards of glass go through as they are transformed from bottles discarded into the sea years ago and washed ashore later as collectable nuggets of glass, also known as mermaid tears.

There are many versions of the theme subject today from CDP bloggers around the world.

I love your beautiful pieces of sea glass and your use of them to illustrate change. Very clever.

Beautiful, but also quite sad, both its existence and its name.

May you and your family be blessed with a new year full of joy, peace, prosperity, good health and much love.

Never heard the term "mermaid tears" before, but it is very appropriate. Nice image for theme day, Raf!
