Deer Watch

It's a morning ritual in uptown Port Townsend when families of resident deer are seen making their feeding rounds from yard to yard. Snapped this sunrise silhouette overlooking Port Townsend Bay from Washington Street.

Unbelievable that you can see deer at such close quarters, where we here in my country only see the odd hedgehog or toad.

What a wonderful capture! The doe and her year-old fawns that come through our back yard to attack the bird feeders have been AWOL lately. The world seems a better place with deer in it. . .
Happy weekend!
