Wooden Boat Festival 2008

Great weather for sailing today as the festival ended with an afternoon sail-by. Shown here are a few of several hundred vessels enjoying the parade of boats. I will be posting more images taken during the festival in the coming days on this blog as well as on my other photo blog, Raf's Lagniappe.

They're all good but the top one in this series is a stunning shot.

How in the world did you manage to take three shots of the boat parade without one single power boat? There were so many beautiful examples...

They just don't look the same in my harbour. I love the blue you get there,.

Lovely! I keep meaning to attend this event, but there are just too many competing activities. So glad we've had splendid weather of late. This is really better than summer, IMHO.
