A last splash
Was blustery weather around our neck of the woods last Sunday. Mostly heavy skies with patches of blue between rain squalls and occasional sun breaks. We were driving through Chimacum valley south of Port Townsend in the late afternoon when a brief glimmer of sunlight on these maples brought out a warm Indian yellow hue. Had to pull over and take a quick shot from the road. Perhaps a last splash of autumn color?
