Sky Watch Friday - Steady pulling

Rowing crews are a common sight on Port Townsend Bay in good weather and are often out on the water steady pulling by sunrise.

See all the Skywatchers here.

Absolutely beautiful! I've probably told you this before. Were it not for family and support group, I'd move to PT. Love your town.

The silhouetted rowers are so well composed against that glorious orange sky.

That was a beauty - simple and to the point (I mean water).

PS No, I don't miss snow - I'm not a winter-person. But today we have sleet...

Lovely! Eight person skull with coxswain. Do you have rowing clubs there, or is this a school team?

Chuck - The one rowing club I'm aware of here in PT is the Rat Island Rowing and Sculling Club. There are also numerous singles and doubles scullers out on the water too.
