WBF revisted

The ageless beauty of wood comes in many shapes, forms and functions in the boating community and nowhere is that more evident than a visit to Port Townsend's annual Wooden Boat Festival every September.

Yes, indeed, there are few things a beautiful as well crafted and finished woodworking. I love the texture. And to think this was once a living thing and lives on for many more years as both functional and in many cases an "object d'art".
