Last weekend we enjoyed a pretty Saturday morning at Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend. The park's history as a military post and all the activities and lodging information can be found here. Included are beautiful hiking trails through the wooded hills and along the beaches. This light and shadow image was taken at the park's military cemetery.
All the particpants of today's ABC Wednesday posts are listed here.

What a nice place for a military cemetary. Your shot is astounding!
You lined this up and snapped the shutter right on time. The rays are really nice and seldom photographed.

superb photograph, this almost divine light which falls in drill, splendid.
That is one of the most ethereal shots I have ever seen. Are you sure no UFO is coming into land. Fantabulous!
Beautiful and thought-provoking--just great for a cemetary. MB
Spectacular picture. We travel in a motorhome and look forward to revisiting the Pacific Northwest again soon.

Very beautiful shot.
Not to mention "An Officer and a Gentleman'!
Our family went sledding several times in this park.
Beautiful! The combination of the fog and light through the trees is breath-taking.
