Wind, rain and sun

Today was a blustery one on the Olympic Peninsula. We spent the weekend on the coast and when returning home to Port Townsend late this afternoon, the sun broke through the clouds onto Lake Crescent seen here. We stopped for a bit and I noticed the light/shadow play on this rugged little madrone clinging to the edge of the rocky shore.

A gallery of shadows awaits your discovery at Harriet's Shadow Shot Sunday.

Funny, it was really blustery here on Saturday! Rattling the windows, etc. But it was overcast, not like your blue sky.

Oh gosh it looks so windy! Ick! Terrible weather aside, your photo is awewsome. I'm lovin' the colours in it...it almost looks like an oil painting rather than a photo. It's really beautiful. Hope the wind has eased off! Have a super week ahead :)

Blustery indeed. The only thing missing is Winnie the Pooh.
