A regular stop for our family, especially when our granddaughters have their say, is the Nifty Fiftys soda fountain downtown on Water Street. They do a superb job of pleasing customers, young and old, with great treats and atmosphere. Our grandaughter, in blue, seen here making a new friend, loves a root beer float with her grilled cheese sandwich and oh yes, like any kid....plugging the juke box. Her favorite tune - Yakety Yak by the Coasters :)

What a fun post for the day, Raf! Love your reflections and such a great shot! Your granddaughter seems to be making the most of her visit! I love it! Hope you and your family have a great weekend!
Sylvia
That looks like a cool place to hang out.
Too cute--great shot. Mickie :)
Lovely place : I'd like very much to have a milkshake in such a colorful set... What an ambiant : it only miss a roller skate waitress, in fact... ;)
Must admit I enjoyed nifty fifys last time I was in Port Townsend. It doesnt disappoint. great burgers, and shakes. Brings back old memories.
Now that's the perfect place to find reflections. The girls in the shot adds fun to the shot. Love that song, too.
The granddaughters bring that photo alive and ground us in the 21st century.
Fabulous!
Such a sweet post today,Raf!
The place looks inviting indeed, and your granddaughter is so cute:)
This is my kind of spot with its pick and black and white checkerboard tiles. Love your shot of it. I can guarantee when we come out to Baimbridge this summer, I am going to insist my son take me to eat here. Hope the food is a great as the ambiance.
What a vibrant image! Makes me want to pull up a seat at the counter and order a lactose free frosted malt!
Hey-what are the odds that two of my images for today's post are from your lovely town? Port Townsend is a pretty darned cool place.
