A few more shots from the encounter I had about six weeks ago with a bald eagle, which I posted here. Not perfectly focused, but I was totally surprised and things moved quickly. Had not seen him before or since.

I love it. What great photos!
Oh, Raf! Those are such fantastic shots! Absolutely beautiful! Wow!
Eagles are cliche, ... but also my favorite bird. They stand alone.
I've only seen two in flight and never with my camera. You are very fortunate.
la première photo est vraiment magnifique, bravo
the first picture is really beautiful, bravo
Beautiful, Raf. I seldom catch them in flight and when I do they are going the other way. Sky King is a perfect title. MB
What a majestic looking creature! I see them sometimes around Washington Park in Anacortes. They always take my breath away! Happy Skywatching...
great captures!
Very nice, Raf. I see you're shivering and suffering like the rest of us in the beautiful Pacific NW. I have heard rumors of spring being on the agenda, just waylaid.
Wonder if this is the fellow I see occasionally in Gig Harbor when I'm back there... I caught him once perched waaaay up in a tree devouring a fish.
Amazing birds. Amazing photos.
Wonerful bird, so proud, real king!
I am dying to see one of those live. Great shots.
Unbelievable! You can be proud for having been ready to shot, Raf!
Awesome and majestic!!!
I have just had a photographic feast wandering on your blog.
Magical photos, love the eagle landing. Do you fly yourself?
Oh, one of my favorite shows as a kid! And this 'king' must have been a thrill to see.
Very well captured,Raf.
Have a nice weekend.
What magnificent shots of your eagle! I know what you mean... sometimes it is hard to get that camera focused fast enough!!
I love eagles!! I have never gotten this close to one...but I'm always looking for them. Beautiful
